Introducing the work of the Law Commission
The Law Commission is the statutory independent body created by the Law Commissions Act 1965 to keep the law of England and Wales under review and to recommend reform where it is needed. The aim of the Commission is to ensure that the law is: fair, modern, simple and cost effective.
This interactive session with two of the Commission’s Research Assistants will give you an insight into the work of the Law Commission and in particular the Research Assistant role, followed by an interactive activity giving you a working insight into the type of tasks you could expect as a Research Assistant.
