Facilitated by Dr Michael Heller, This lecture will outline the research bid to the Arts and Humanities Research Council that I am currently undertaking with my research colleague Professor Michael Rowlinson from Exeter University Business School. The lecture has three aims: 1) To provide a detailed overview of our research bid 2) To provide a discussion of core concepts of institutionalism, internal communication, discourse and rhetorical history, and organisational archival historical research 3) Advice on how to prepare for and write a major research bid.
