Facilitated by Dr Mustafa Ozbilgin, this webinar explores how Toxic leadership is often considered as a leader centric concept, associated with the qualities of the leader. However, it is the followers and the extant context that helps construct leadership and leader behaviours. In this session we will examine why people become followers of toxic leaders and how a toxic illusio is sustained. Specifically, we examine followers of toxic illusion using psychological construct of personal uncertainty and sociological concept of illusion. As such we will discuss how individuals are drawn to toxic leadership and how they remain as followers of toxic leaders even when toxic leadership is
