Virtual Law Week: Launch event for The Freedom Project
Weds 26 January, 1-2pm: Launch event for The Freedom Project
Introducing this new Brunel Law School Pro Bono initiative and part of the Law Lives programme. Hosted by Anjali Kemwal
Brunel Law School's Pro Bono Programme is happy to launch a new addition to its pro bono offering: The Freedom Law Clinic offers pro bono opportunities for students in criminal appeal cases through remote working, and provides vital assistance to clients who cannot otherwise fund legal representation. Students work on real cases under the guidance of experienced lawyers. Clients get free help and the benefit of aspiring lawyers, that are supported by a permanent caseworker team. Clients are typically serving life sentences, meaning students get the opportunity to work on serious and intellectually challenging cases. To learn more about Freedom Law Clinic and other pro bono opportunities, including a live presentation by our Streetlaw students, please attend this webinar.
